Cardinal's "Tree" Accounts Make Messaging Simple to Manage

Voice Mailboxes with extensions are called “trees". A tree account begins with a main menu number and has several different extensions that "branch" off from the main number.

With this service, when your callers dial your main menu number, they'll hear your customized, company greeting, followed by courteous instructions for what to do next.

Guided by this professional greeting, callers will easily reach the extension of the person they want. For example, the greeting might guide the caller to "Press 1 to leave a message for Mary, press 2 to leave a message for Steve" and so on. Once they select the extension, callers are instantly transferred to the individual's voicemail box so they can leave their message.

Never a Busy Signal

The system accepts multiple messages at the same time, eliminating busy signals.

You Decide if You Want Immediate Notice

Cardinal's advanced system gives you the option of notifying the staff member called as each new message is received.

Our system can call their cell letting them know they have a new message. If preferred, notice can be made by a text message.

Pager notification works just as easily. With a numeric pager, the mailbox number appears on the pager's display screen.

Find-Me Follow-Me Routes Calls Directly- You Decide to Take or VoiceMail It

If you want your staff to have the option to speak with the caller at the time they call, Cardinal's "Find-Me Follow-Me" service will call them at up to 3 predefined telephone numbers.

The system announces the call, giving them the option of taking it “on the fly” or sending it to voicemail. Call Screening is also available to ask the caller to identify themselves by name so it can be included in the announcement.

You Retain Total Control

You record your own personal greeting and can have more than one if you choose.  That means you have complete control over what's said and how it sounds when your line is answered. You can change your greeting any time you like. 

Secure and Passcode Protected

Cardinal Communications manages all aspects of your voicemail service from a secure facility. Additionally, each box has it's own own private passcode. The passcode means messages stay secure and private because outsiders don't have access to your voicemail boxes unless authorized. Change the passcodes as often as you like from any touchtone telephone.

Unified Messaging $49.95 per month plus 8 cents per minute for each extension:

  • Single Voicemail Mailbox
  • Call Screening - system asks caller to identify themselves then announces their identity when forwarding the call to you. You decide to take call or send to voice mail.
  • Find-Me, Follow-Me - system forwards calls to you at up to 3 numbers you specify. If you don't pick up at any of the three numbers, system notifies caller you're unavailable and takes message.
  • Return Calls directly from your box by just pressing the # Key
  • Place Outbound calls from your box
